There's all this talk that Ford should kill Mercury but I think Lincoln should go before Mercury. Lincoln is redundent, Volvo and Jag cover luxury pretty much. If they stick the Aviator interior into the Mountaineer, that would be an awesome vehicle. I think Mercury is in a good enough position that it can be changed into a VW-type brand (more for young professionals). It doesn't really have any stigma attached to its name like Lincoln.
