Definately the 00-01. Then you won't have the timing tensioner rattle or even the ignition switch failure. You'll still have the oil burning, though.

The SSs are to be avoided. The first 5G I drove was an SS cause that's all they had on the lot. It was awful--totally defeats the purpose of a car like the Prelude.

If you care enough about cars to be on a board like this in the first place, then you should get a manual. Don't know how to drive one? You can learn in an afternoon. Traffic bad in your area?
Nonsense, the good far outweighs the bad.
