Like I said, won't buy any car without a stick - being able to get a stick with a sunroof,six disc-in dash changer, 4-wheel discs & ABS at a price of around $20,000 was a big bonus, otherwise I probably would've gotten a new Altima. Plus the dealer practically gave the car away... then again, I made him grab his ankles pretty good - took me almost two weeks of making the poor guy compete with another dealership. At this point, I'm paying less in monthly payments than I was for my old car

Anyway, I don't think I'd bother mod'ding an autotranny. Replacing it with a stick would be my first performance mod, if I had one. There's something like a 25% drivetrain powerloss in automatics - plus, you can never spin your tires.... what a bore. Can't imagine not shifting for myself. Now that I think about it, what fun is a VTEC when you can't downshift it manually right into the sweet spot and smoke the moron trying to pass you on the right...
