don't have a stereo system, just an aftermarket stereo. They have always been dim, its just I didnt really care until recently. The guy that had it before tried to "****** rig" a lot of the wiring. All the fuses are good, and I can't trace the wires because they are covered with that plastic sleave. I followed it back to the socket that connects it to alternator and from what I can tell, it looks fine.

How much do you think it would cost for the dealer to look at them?

I have tried 2 sets of bulbs. Sylvania and Sylvania XTRA VISION.
