sometimes they work, sometimes they dont. i dont know a lot about arranged marriages and its culture, but they usually take place in families in which there are very high family values, not something very popular in america.h:

if you grew up around arranged marriages, you probably would see it as another phase or step in your life. and its not so much for the contract of unionship, or for the love of the couple, but more of the merger of the two families.
