hmmm, now that I think of it, I think Outlook has a different way of storing emails compared to the free Outlook Express.
have you installed MS Office 2k on the xp computer?
Do you have it on the '98 computer?
your best bet is to copy the files manually from the '98 computer's
Outlook Express folder to the XP computer's
Outlook Express store folder. Then install Office on that computer, and it should ask you if you want to import your files from OE6...
