The correct way to reset the ECU is:
- open the passenger door
- on the SIDE of the dash is a little door
- pull the door off
- on the back of the door, there is a diagram
- locate (on the diagram) the #13 fuse "CLOCK/BACK UP"
- Now locate the 7.5 amp (MAROON) fuse on the fuse panel
- pull the fuse out
- wait 2 minutes
- re-install fuse
- reinstall door
- drive car "normal" for 15 minutes

the other "method" of resetting the ECU goes like this:

disconnect the battery for 5 min
then reconnect and start the car
let the car idle for 10 min
the end

THIS DOES NOT WORK.
