I didn't used to cheat, but then at times when the whole class was cheating (talk about team work), it would have been really unfair to me that my grades would suffer because I was honest?

Yes, I have cheated when I needed too. Also, yes you can cheat through your career and most parts of your life, but it does take some intelligence and creativity to do that and there is a limit of how much can you cheat.
