When I did mine, I sanded the lettering first to polish it, then applied some liquid mask to them, painted it, then peeled off the liquid mask. Came out perfect:thumbup:

well the way you're supposed to do it is apply a little vaseline or vicks vaporub on the lettering so the paint wont stick on them but i had neither in my house so i had to use a beer bottle wrapped in sandpapper to sand the paint off the lettering.
