There is no hype, the B18A/B is a stronger engine.

90-91 B18A 130hp/121ft-lbs
92-93 B18A 140hp/126ft-lbs
94-01 B18B 138-142hp/126ft-lbs (hp depending on year)

With a turbo, it really depends on what pressure and other mods you run.

Compair that to your stock engine and you will notice the B18A/B is by far stronger.
