Only true for stock wheels, or rims with hub centric rings...

In any case, watch for potholes, and check teh lugs once a week til you get it fixed. If it's a rear one with drums, it's stupid easy to fix. If it's a front one, might want to just grab a hub at a junkyard for 20 bucks, and deal with the old one when you have time...
