Pressure gauges would be a good thing to have. Lots of people here just tell you to add a can of refrigerant. So theirs was simply low, and it worked for them. Good deal.

So maybe you happen to have a clogged expansion valve, then you add a can of rifrigerant. Next week your compressor explodes, & you're mad at us because we told you to add the stuff...

AC is just like anything else in your car. There's more than one way for it to be screwed up. Diagnose the problem first so you don't make it worse.

Yes I think '94 had R134a, but there should be a sticker under the hood saying so... Make sure because you better not add the wrong stuff.
