the "L" one is your low presure line and that is the one you need to use to refill. just attach the connector to it and let the can empty into the system. you might want to buy a compression meter to make sure you are not overcharging/undercharging the system.
I think the fitting on the kit wont fit the h side of the ac system. It comes that way to avoid the fitting to accidently be placed on the h side .
By the way I filled my ac with 2 big cans of refrigerant, and it still doesnt come out too cold.
Might be my condenser needs to be cleaned.
