this is what i did ...

get a large cookie sheet and line it with foil.
place your headlight on the sheet.
preheat your oven to 250 degrees
when preheated, turn the oven off
insert the cookie sheet and headlight in the oven
wait 4 min, and then remove

use a putty knife to loosen up and pry apart the seals
