There is little difference between normal oil and synthetic with three exceptions. Here is why: Synthetic oils are based on pao's can't remember what it stands for but that is what makes the difference. Most synthetics have almost none. Mobil 1 has some PAO's in it which makes it better than the others, redline and amsoil are the only two oils worth using, they have a 100% PAO base. You can swith between at any time.
