I recently purchased a 99 LS with 34K mi for 10,700. The previous owner had backed the car into something and damaged the exhaust. They then replaced it with the Apex-i N1 cat back exhaust, it's a little loud for me but from what i hear its one of the best for preformance out there. Now im not looking to spend a lot of money on this car and not looking to race it either. I just want something a little more fun to drive. Ive already upgraded the sound system and added a generic CAI, i have under 500$ left to spend on the car. Im looking at a 270$ DC sports header on ebay right now and i want to know if a header would be the right way to go and if it would be worth the money (approx. 400$ after intallation) or if there is another way to get more bang for my buck horsepower wise.
