though acceleration stats and a skidpad are similar...on a track the lighter and much more nimble elise type r should win
take into the fact that the elise type r weighs less than 2,000 lbs and the z06 weighs around 3,200 lbs...the weight difference makes has a huge effect on the track...weight transfer, braking distance, etc.
Car and Driver had the numbers for that Elise at 4.5 to 60 and 13.4 at 104mph.

Also, it wont be past Sun to lie a bit, Chevy said 3.9 to 60 for the Z06.
I dont know what Z06 you are looking at, but your numbers to 60 is more like that of the base vette. The Z06 his 60 in 4.1 seconds and the 1/4th mile in 12.5 at 115mph according to Motor Trend.
More importanlty for this comparisons sake, Car and Driver got 4.0 to 60. They did the 1/4th mile in 12.4 seconds at 116mph.
