But in response to the actual question...a JRSC will be faster right off the bat; has nice power gains throughout the rev range. It's limited (in terms of heat) to about 12 psi. The Vortech is a centrifugal unit, which means you don't build full boost until you're well above, say, 6,000 rpm (for comparison's sake, a T-92 turbo will make full boost faster than a Vortech unit). However, it does have much more potential, and it's a better choice if you prefer bragging about peak HP numbers (which the Vortech owns) and choose to race at freeway speeds instead on the usual let's-race-from-stoplight-to-stoplight-0->30mph "drags". It also has the advantage of optional aftercooling, which is a plus for extended driving (eg. track events).
