I guess it has something to do with water getting into the intake?

I have an AEM CAI on my 6th gen, should I be worried or cautious during rainy weather? I have yet to have any problems so far in driving in heavy rain. Here is a pic of mine it is located by the front gfx where a foglight could be placed at.
