To all cigar afficianados: My humidification device is full of mold. Is it salvageable, or do I need to get a new one?

Had one cigar with some mold on the end. I burned it off the end and smoked it anyway...fire kills all. So, if I die, I guess I'll know why...at least I enjoyed it.
