Default Wanna race?

Yup, I'm a soccer mom of two now (6 & 3) and the cool part is that I've owned cars that ran 13's stock ('97 Z28) that I had modified to pull high 12's . . . and they were VERY streetable.

Just because I'm female doesn't mean I can't drive - this is just the slowest car I've ever owned . . . and it really sucks driving it - I put my foot to the floor and the damn thing just seems to make more noise than go.

On the side of my house is still a 1969 Camaro that I'd put against ANY non NOS or Boosted rice burner for the 1/4 mile . . . and, it idles nicely too (Crane hi-intensity lifters take the lope out of the cam until I hit 3,000 RPM's when the full lift/duration is realized).

Yes, I've been around cars my whole life - and raced them since I started stealing my dad's new '88 vette when I was 15.

Soccer Mom - don't be fooled, besides my two Honda's (a 1995 Civic EX and this 2001 Accord EX); I've never driven anything with less than 8 cyl and would turn a high 15 (I had a '85 Mustang GT that turned 15.8's - seemed fast at the time, but then I got a Motorcycle - WHA HOOO!!!).

Remember in another post - I'm good friends with Dave Smith; owner of our local race track. I go to the Wednesday night drags (open bracket racing) at least 4-5 times a year.

Soccer Mom says bring your cash and let's dash - the 1/4 mile makes me smile!
