lots of people mistake light blue smoke for white. Are you sure?
Are you losing coolant? If its not the gasket and you are losing coolant then you must have a crack that is letting water into the combustion chamber. The crack could be in the block or the intake side of the head. Fuel problems cause black smoke and is rarely mistaken for white water smoke.
