I have a 6G coupe 4cyl. I am probably going tubo in the next 8 months. I will be boosting around 5-8 psi from a custom turbo.

My question is what kind of exhaust is needed?

I don't really need a 3" exhaust do I? In other words, could I put a 2.5" on today and use it for the exhaust? These larger "turbo" exhausts that are 3" piping are mostly for 14 psi correct?

Basically, if I buy a Thermal Classic catback, will I need to throw it away when I go boost? Since it is only 2.5"?
