You had to use a vinyl strip on your 6th gen sedan? I got mine tinted here in Houston during September (hot weather) with no problems, and no vinyl strip whatsoever. I know someone from another board with a 6th gen coupe who also got his car tinted in Houston. He then moved to Toronto, and tried changing to a darker tint during colder weather, but had trouble with the dot matrix.

The guy who did my tint job also happened to be working on 2 other 6th gen sedans before he did mine (coincidence). :dunno:
