I read some Mazda boards and apparently the 2.3L does make 175hp in Japan. A little tuning should make the engine have around 170hp in US form at least. After all they're going to have to differentiate the 150hp 2.0L from its larger sibling. I heard production dates are slated from anywhere in September to all the way in October.
