One of my TA's in a psychology class had to live in Ohio for about 2 years. She was outspoken about her sexuality, and often recieved yells of "Dyke" and worse while walking around town. Anyways, she got a couple of her gay friends together and they would drive around yelling "Breeders!" at straight couples...

I've also noticed that, over time, 25%-50% of the extremely outspoken homophobic people I knew back in High School ended up either coming out of the closet, or doing their best to stay in the closet while not out clubbing for the same sex.

And gay people are essentially that... people. That's the most basic fact of all...
