Yup h: But the founders believed in God, so their freedom was realized in the ability to worship Him. I think if we can get away from thinking of the "Under God" thing as literal, it is not such a bad part of the Pledge. I know, I know, why should we even have to deal with it?? I don't know, throw something in there to reflect the fact that this country truly does give everyone freedom to practice or not practice any religion they choose.
