so you were able to get the lower chrome window trim off under the windows? Just pry up a little, and theres tabs on those little red clips? I saw the red clips under there, just didnt know how they worked... How can u pry up enough to get to the tabs? Will a chop stick work?

Yeah I got everything off the driver's side last night. It was a real beee-otch. First thing I'd do is wrap a rag around a screwdriver so it doesn't mess up the paint on the door. Since I am repainting I didn't care about a few more scratches. There are red clips on the ends of the molding but they pull out pretty easily. There are several white clips about 6" apart along the length of the molding. Use a the screwdriver with the rag to pry up on the molding and peak under till you find the first white clip. You can pry up quite a bit. I was able to put a lot of pressure on the clips and none of them broke. Once you find a white clip, shove your chopstick up in there and then use a smaller screwdriver to pop the white clip out of the molding. You have to be really careful about scratching the paint of the door though. Putting some tape down might not be a bad idea. The Haynes manual recommends this for removing other items. For the most part though the directions in the Haynes manual blow!
