I think you take off the door panels inside the car and there should be clips on the door once the panels off. I heard they're a pain to get out, but it's the only way. Most people I've talked to said they had to replace the clips holding them in. I'm not sure if I'm right, but I hope I helped some. Good luck with all that work.
he's referring to the vertical black plastic panels, not the horizontal door side moldings.
