My parents are both Filipino and they hate the fact that i work on my car so much. They always claim i'm doing more damage to the car than repair. I got used to it, its just because they dont have a clue about how to work on a car, and just because they dont know how, they automatically think that i dont know how either. Thats what i call a real typical Filipino parent. They dont like my exhaust either, its "too loud". And my car is "too low".
Try a set of H&R race springs with KYB AGX shocks. It'll drop you where you want to be. The stock shocks will NOT handle that kind of a drop no matter what, but if you really want to feel the improvement of good shocks over stock, then go for the springs just for now. The combo should be roughly 500 bucks right there, but well worth it. Once you've got those in, you're going to need a camber kit, and an alignment. I recommend that you go for Ingalls (150) or Skunk (200) for the front. You dont need the rear camber kit as long as you get a good alignment.
Where are you from? If you're outside of California, its likely it doesnt matter what kind of header you run, since the smog laws in other states are less strict. I recommend Comptech, JG Edelbrok, RSR, factory ITR (Integra Type R).
If you're already leaning towards a Greddy Evo, good for you, its a great exhaust system, with great sound, fit and relatively good power gains when compared to other complete exhaust systems.
