2003 EX-V6 ~8000 miles. Had it since February and it runs like a champ. Few issues...
1. About a month after I got it I hit a stack of construction cones that flew off a St. Highway Admin truck and it punctured a hole clean through my right front bumper. Feel that part of your bumper, its NOTHING but hollow plastic. However, just so you know, a brand new bumper is only $250 (then labor, cost insurance about $800) No sweat, you would never know it happened.
2. The best gas milage I got was 475miles to a tank driving to Florida. That is conservative driving (limited hammer dropping) at around 80-85mph. Thats running on 94octane Sunoco.
3. The little plastic cover over the Stereo LCD (not with NAV) is coming loose. I think from sitting in the sun it got a little hot and warped or something. I am going to take it up to the dealer and make them fix that. Just cosmetic.
4. Watch when you close the gas tank door. The plastic cord that connects the cap to the car will (and HAS) gotten stuck in the clasp that holds the door shut. To get it open, use a rubber spatula from the kitchen, works like a champ. Need two people to do it, one to push lever, one to pry. GO EASY!
5. BEWARE of parking next to ignorant busters who have old ghetto blasters and dont care about dings. They will ding the bejesus our of the THIN metal on Honda doors. I got a nice dinger in the parking lot at work. I get there early to park next to a lamp post now. (No I didnt catch the ****** that did it)
6. If you have TCS, DONT turn it off to try a burn out. Trust me, it works.... I tried when the ground was wet. I spun for about 25 feet. (or more)
7. This car will EASILY achieve 120mph. I got a little nervous at 120 and let off the throttle.
Thats really all I know so far. If you guys find anything else, I would greatly appreciate it. Take care, enjoy your new Honda's!
PS - BigB2k3: excellent choice of car! I got the same one, same color but mine is stock.
