My wife just called. Our lovely 2006 Civic is giving us more issues. The car was in an accident (wasnt on the carfax) and the dealer did a really good job of hiding any traces of it. But a month later and here are the issues. The car was sold to us as is so no warranty (cause it was still under the factory bumper to bumper.....untill. I would appreciate no responses in regards to how dumb that was. :exnbp:

So my wife is at a stoplight with 7 series bmw infront of her. Foot on the brake and the engine starts racing. The car lunges forward and she almost hits the BMW. She said her foot was on the brake and off the gas completely. She said she was holding the brake with both feet trying not to hit the bmw and then the car calmed down.....

Its a 2006 Civic EX Auto

any ideas as to why this would happen?
