how do i smoke out my tail lights?

That's for instructions on a 7th gen coupe. For any other gens, just take out the taillights and follow the same instructions for application of tint/gloss.

you mean like this? most hobby stores sell tint spray. tape off the area you want to tint and clean it good. spray a couple of coats on. after you get the desired color let it dry. after its dry add a couple coats of clear to protect the paint. one thing to rember is if you go too dark the clear will lighten it up.

It looks alot better when you take the whole light out of the housing.

I thought that would be implied, but yes make sure you take the taillight assembly out before you attempt to tint them. I talked to a kid once that left the tails on his car while he did it. the results were not that great.

it looks best if you just tint the whole damn thing...taping off looks taped off
