Default speedometer doesn't work need help

i have a 1986 honda prelude 2.0L Si Fuel Injected and the speedometer does't work i need to no how to fix it? A.S.A.P plzzzzzz

Used Gauge Cluster on Ebay
Edit: sorry just reread your post and saw that it was an 86, thought it was an 88-91, but your best bet is to go to a junk yard and see if you can pick up a working one. Probably wont beable to fix the current one.

i thought the speed sensor might not be plugged in or sumthin

check and see if the VSS is plugged in. also see if the speedo plug is plugged in.

where those are on an '86 lude, i have no idea though...

check the speedo cable that goes from the trans to the speedo it's int he back of the motor by the dog bone mount with 2 hoses connected to it
