Default suspension

hi guys!

i have a 6th gen sedan and i need help in upgrading my suspension. im currently riding on stocks shocks and eibach proline springs. of course , its about that time to change the shocks since theyre probably blown and i should get new ones. how should my new setup be?

a- keep the springs and get new shocks ( but what kind, adj or non adj?)

b- get a set up ground control coilovers and shocks

c- get new springs and new shocks

basically, my point is that , to have a decent suspension setup , is the key the springs or the shocks. can i roll with good nonadj shocks and get coilovers

my ride is way to stiff now * ouch* ; please help

how can your suspension be way to stiff? I mean you have eibach springs if you think that is stiff then you probably aren't going to find many lowering springs comfortable. When you lower you car the new springs are usually stiffer so your car doesnt bottum out like a mo-fo.

a set of good struts, KONI, TOKICO, etc......., will help your ride quality. but the ride is going to be stiffer than the stock suspension b/c it has to be. if it is as loose as stock, you will hit every possible thing. keep the sportlines though, they are a good set of springs.

I have nice smooth ride with E-Prokits on stock shox. Then I upgraded to koni's [yellows] with my same prokits and a camber kit. The koni's really gave the ride some stiffness even on the lowests setting. So my bet is any good performance shock is going to make your ride stiffer.

You said your stock shox are blow, likely? Yes or No? if you don't know then they aren't blow. Eibachs are very mild springs with mild rates I had my OEM shocks on the car for 46,000+mi on my prokits and they still look fabulas, some dirt but the struts look in fantastic shape. I upgraded to go stiffer. The only way you are going to get a softer ride is prokits and stock shocks. If you are upgrading just to upgrade then save your money for when your shox are blow. If your rides not ossilating and you just cruise your OEM's will last for some time. Accords and Ludes have really good shocks compared to other hondas. Using a set of mild quality aftermarket springs they will last for some time.
