Default How to run Rich???

Hey guys, I got a few questions for ya. I have a 96 PRelude f22a that is surprizingly fast so I decided to work on it and not look for a h22a (Im not joking, it IS FAST).

Ok, what are some ways I can run rich on my car?
would it hurt the car in any way except for the fuel ecnomy?
Is it a lot of work to remove the cat. converter by myself? how much would it cost to get it done in a shop? would i have top buy some pipe in the place of the cat?

thats it. thanks

I would not suggest removing the cat because your exhaust will sound raspy and disgusting, also it will ruin the environment. Instead, get a high flow cat from catco or carsound or randomtech.

As far as running rich, why? The preludes already run a little rich from the factory.

Anyways, do you have timeslips for your F22? I'm just curious as to how fast it is.

BTW, just looking at your sig, I'm going to recommend against the 3.5" dual exhaust and the flame thrower kit. Dual 3.5" is WAY too big for a prelude, especially a F22. And a flame thrower kit is just...fast and furious. I mean, it is your car so you can do what you want, but those are just my suggestions.

Good luck w/ your lude

I wonder how Honda explained that 2.2L > 2.3L to the average consumer. I also think that about the TSX (Customer: But doesn't the RSX make equal horsepower (of the TSX) with -.4L of displacement?)

ikts the same thing american car companies have been doing for years, making cars with more torque....

the TSX has +20 ft-lbs more than the RSX-S

the h23 had a slight advantage over the h22 (last time i checked...)

it's been going on for years, like in ford land
taurus from like 1991 or 92:
3.0 V6<3.8 V6 from mustang<SHO 3.0V6 from yamaha
ini terms of HP
but last time i checked my old 3.8 made suttin like 220 ft-lbs of torque.... which made me very happy when i pressed on the GO pedal
