uummmm... both? I'm not sure, but I know that the o2 sensor can make the car act that way. Are you getting a CEL? You can always check them both with a volt meter.

um...y?

i have the same exact problem. have since i bought it over a year ago. however waht he failed to mention is that it only happens when its cold outside. plus it goes away once the temperature gauge reads closer to normal idle temperature.

so it only happens to me when ive been driving around and had the heat on...then put it in park. it goes nuts

all i do is put the ac or cold on, or turn the heat off and the car warms back to normal idle temperature... and then it idles normally

i dont have a check engine light. never have, and ive had this same problem for the past year (only affects me in winter time)

any other ideas? i really wish i could permenatly fix it. it pisses me off
