Default whats so special about itr lcas?

My question is exactly that what is so special about ITR Lower Control Arms?
I looked at them and noticed how the strut mounts different but why is it better or whatever?
Thanks

Type R rear LCA's are needed to install the Type R rear struts. That's all I can think of. :dunno:

So if see you people looking for those LCAs then maybe they swapped out for ITR springs and struts.

Just another way to say...... :nono: "HEY DUDE.....That's not a real type r" The more you know!!

But for real, I think it might have to do with the ITR rear sway bar. I have heard of people having to modify it slightly to clear part of the caliper on regular tegs. But i might just be blowin smoke.

i think it's mostly to modify the vehicle to be compatible with the ITR's rear springs/shocks setup

I believe there are other reasons as well.. It must have to do w/suspension geometry, and accomodating the thicker sway bar.

We all know honda is one of the most frequent users of the parts bin, so for them to re-engineer the rear suspension for no reason is not likely.

I guess we could start by comparing the two side by side.. lemme find some pics.

Lighter weight, which translates to less unsprung weight in the rear (thus allowing the rear suspension to react quicker), and their design will also bend before cracking...

That, and the fact that I can now run an ITR-spec suspension in my car rocks
