****!!!car Is Having Trouble Starting!!!****
hi everyone. i currently own a 1998 honda accord v6 couple 33K miles. recently i tried to start my car and it would choke for 5 seconds or so before the engine starts running. i have checked the spark plugs, air filter, battery, and fuel cap. the spark plugs look clean and fine. the airfilter is mostly clean, and the battery is enough. also, the engine light is on!!! damn. this never happed to me.
btw, the light came on while i was driving.
thanks to everyone that can help.

This seems to be a problem on the V6 Accords... has something to do with the design of the fuel lines/injectors or something. I forgot exactly what it was... vapor lock? Anyway its a design flaw.. not fixable. Does it happen after youve driven the car awhile, ran in somewhere to do an errand and tried to start your car back up?

well this happend after i went to go buy some yoshinoya beef bowls. then while i was on my way back home the engine light came on... i pulled over to the side of the street to see what happend. i turned off the car, waited 30 seconds and try to restart the car. thats when it started chuggin. after like 5 seconds of chugging it started again. i went back home and check my air filter, sparkplugs and fuel cap. its all in place. today im going to check the distributor cap, distributor rotor and the fuel filter. do you guys know where the fuel filter is located? thanks!
