Default HID's MDX

Is there a way to get them on an '06 MDX. Aftermarket not perfered.

You'd need the harness, bulbs, ballasts, etc. from an RL, TL, etc. That's assuming that the ends of the plugs are the same across vehicles to make it a plug-and-play installation. I know that people have put TL/CL HIDs in Accords, so the concept should be similar with the MDX.

I find it surprising that a vehicle that nice that costs as much as it does doesn't come with HIDs.

By the way what type of bulbs are in the MDX headlight?

Low beam headlamp: H11-55W

High beam headlamp: 9005

In my opinion, you are better off with a quality aftermarket kit (Hella, Phillip's) which offer H11 adapters and should be more plug-and-play than retrofitting OEM HID's. Chances are, the OEM HID's bulbs are D2R's and don't fit into the MDX housing.
