If you're going to do one or the other, and its just a question of $150, I'd go with the 98+ conversion... much more attractive.
But then, I personally, would just leave it be :o IBmoved

Haven't the Type-R conversions gone down in price? I haven't really been much into Integra's for 4 years but I've seen more Type-R conversions since then.

If I were you I would keep an eye out for a used 98-01 conversion on CL. Shit like that has gotta pop up easily in your area. Whether it's hot or not is another story

94-97> 98-01 IMO.
I say: 1) Keep the existing lip spoiler. 2) Find a new 94-97 bumper cover for $200 or so. 3) Spend enough to get it painted by someone who can match the rest of the car without having to blend into the fenders and hood. 4) Swap bumper covers, install foglights. Minimum investment and it covers all the bases.

I understand that. It seems like you have an understanding that 94-97 headlights will not work on a 98+ bumper. It may look goofy but you can do it. I was just thinking that if you found a 98+ bumper but had not luck finding 98 headlights. You could use the 97's in the meantime until you found 98's

I prefer the 98-01 style front end with an ITR lip and no fog lights. If your willing to wait until the price is right, just keep an eye on HT market place and CL until you find one. Yellow headlights can be restored easily as well, I wouldn't pay more than $200 for them.
Just FYI, I bought an aftermarket bumper that was higher quality. Fitmet was perfect, but it doesn't say integra by the headlight like OEM. JDM conversions can be had for ~$1300 now days.

yeah i can buff out headlights all day and such, but nothing beats brand new. those $1300 conversions dont paint or install themselves though. in the end its still a few grand.

If I were you I would probably go with with Dave's advice. Personally I prefer the 98 + with lip, Looks sexy with an intercooler tucked in there.

I would go with the 98 + front end. I like the other one too, but I love my 99 front end. It has a nicer style to it and better contour.

I have both and I see them everyday. I'll have to say that a 98-01 front-end makes the car look a lot newer to me.
But, 94-97 foglights with a 97 ITR front lip like you have, and new headlights with a new paint job sure is a rarity these days and the keeps the vehicle's originality. Thats I'm going to do to my '95, with amber turn signals. Actually, I was about to buy new headlights the other day...I went to Streetlightz and they said they could order me new oem 94-97 headlights for $250. Try them. I vote for D, with a new 97 ITR lip. They all look good though with a paint job and headlights, thats for sure. |

Actually, we rely on our friend to do paint jobs and bodywork for us; I've never had to go to a body shop.
This is the look I'm going with, plus foglights. Both my cars are black too.
