Ha, another Integra in good hands, good job. I have spare parts, I'm just not sure where they are.

I actually looked them up, but didn't see them in ARP's online catalog.

The Spoon oil pan is on now. Type R valvetrain, timing belt and a 96+ lower timing cover were ordered yesterday.

According to C-Speeds comp. calculator, with .25 OS pistons, my compression will be 11.4:1 and displacement has been bumped up to 1808cc.

Now I'm considering using a 2-layer head gasket to take it up to 11.6~11.7, but I'm not sure if that's safe with 91 octane, or if that won't work well with CTR cams.

The longer it takes, the better it comes out IMO. Took me 10 months to start after my car broke down; this is my first one too.

*Update

Today I took my head and intake manifold to Dan Paramore at DPR Racing for porting(dprracing.com). Talked to him directly and told him exactly what my build consisted of; he offered a lot of advice. It will be re-assembled with complete ITR valvetrain.

On the way home, I stopped at Hmotors and picked up the last internal part I needed, an ITR exhaust camshaft. I highly recommend both of these shops, excellent customer service.

yeah HMO rocks. i was really surprised at the size of the warehouses.

i'm surprised DPR is still around, he was one of the pioneers in the sport compact scene.

Yeah, Dan showed me some pictures of when Erick Aguilar used to work for him.

Thanks, Kenny.
