CEL PO141 on a 2005 HONDA ACCORD?
I thought this was a strange code to find on a newer model car?
Any thoughts?
It CEL would come on and come off every so often but now it seems to be staying on all the time..
So far I read that the PO141 is the Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 2).
When I look under the car near the Cat I see where it is connected.
Question 1.
How many sensors do I have along the muffler?
Question 2.
Is bank 1 sensor 2 the one near the cat?
Question 3.
What Brand should I replace it with? Bosch?
Question 4.
Does OEM in this case mean that it plugs in or do I have splice the wires?
Thanks

Now instead of code P0141, the code now is P0139
Same sensor I am told by advance auto.
Very frustrating

P0139 is indeed the same sensor you've just replaced. Have you checked the wiring itself? As noted in your own post, those wires are very close to lots of very hot components.
Is the car running rough or is it just a light that came on?

Car is running smooth.
The light came off yesterday. Came on this morning again.
I will get a new sensor and replace it.
I will keep you updated.

go 18 in. rims with low profile tires anything bigger than 18 will damage your fender and will scrape on the inside of your wheel wells.

I replaced the sensor again. So far 7 days and no CEL light.
Crossing my fingers.

I have had the EXACT same scenario as you. Started with po141 and a month later, I am getting po139 (bank 1 sensor 2, slow response).
I just put a nice NTK sensor in a month ago, thinking about buying the Denso OEM replacement but heard NTK actually makes that one too, so not sure if that will help.
Did it turn out to be the sensor for you? My mechanic told me I need to replace the catalytic convertor but I'm not buying it based on the code.

It is not the necessarily the sensor but the relay that controls it. Check the relays it could have been shaken free in the bump. Pushing the relay in and out of its socket could refresh the contact and solve the warning code. To clear the code disconnect the negative battery terminal for a few minutes.
