tire thread.
how do i know what rating the tire is and what does it stand for..ie, Z,R,H and so on.....and tread wear, whats better higher numbers or lower numbers? and i cant find them on my tires, where do i look.h: gotta get some new tread soon and put on my fawking camberkit aswell.

whats everyone running...im on falken 502s and they suck major ass..i was thinking of going the kumoh 712,713. i think my current tires have been on for only a few months and they are worn down pretty bad. i want a tire that is long lasting but good grip..maybe im asking to much?>

I run Pirelli P7000s. 333 tread rating.
205/40-17s z-rated
The higher the tread rating the harder the tire, but the longer lasting it is. The smaller the number the softer the tire and better grip, but they won't last as long.

mine say 340..that shiit is a soft compoound and tires dont last me for shiit.

im on my second set since i bought the car (2)for the fronts, i never rotate then, i do now. i also got the tires flipped when i changed rims. i put on 17,000 miles since feb2002 till today. :ugh: thats alot of shiity miles. i need a beater but how do i tell what they are rated? what tires last a long time but i wont loose out on to much handling/gripping?
