Where can I cruze in circuit race my gsr in North Carolina or southeastern US?
Where the best websites to find about North Carolina Circuit tracks and clubs?
How hard is it to be apart of the honda racing league?
Pros: I have 16 degree adustable coil-overs, front camber kit, oem type R rear sway bar, my front camber set to -1.0(L) and -0.9(R) with in spec, total toe 0. Minor Motor mods: Irdium spark plugs and new wires, cold air intake, Cat back exhuast. Actually use these mods for what there made for.
Cons: It's my daily driver 98 GSR I'd be driving, so I'd be starting hot, I scoring marks on my fairly new brake disks and it's probley time for new pads, Gas Prices w/ 91+ octane required for the DOHC vtec B18c1, low paying part-time job.
All informative advice accepted on getting started in circuit racing in NC or southwest Va.

You live in a prime location. There's:
VIR - Virginia International Raceway
CMP - Carolina Motorsports Park
AMS - Atlanta Motor Speedway
And of course there are local autocross clubs in your area: http://www.scca.com

What class or group would be best for me. I am looking to gut my car and weld up roll cage any time soon.
What will I need to get started? (examples: what kind of helmet, gear, regulation stuff)

Secondly if you want to be presentable to sponsors you have to at least spell it right.
And lastly getting sponsors is not about getting free parts. It's about your imagine for that company and what YOU can do for them.

Autocross is a great way to get your feet wet. Cheap and basically safe on your car.

Good topic..i was kind of curious about this too, I am looking to get into time trials or even a test and tune, Basicaly any track time at all. I heard you have to attend a driving school and have at least a permit from an instructor to compete in any SCCA event except like autox . Does anyone know how expensive that is to attend driving school...I`m not complete new to racing but only local circle track under my belt, I want build my eg to go Left...and Right lol..Thanx Peace
