I was thinking the same thing.
Problem with the WRX is the time the car takes for the turbo to spool up. 0-60 foot the WRX shines and in the rain, although I beat my friend's stock WRX (on Hoosiers) with my Civic Si in the rain this weekend :) |
WRXs around my area a rare, I might see 1 or 2 a week and most of the time it's the same ones I've already seen. Personally I like the GSXs better than the WRXs because they hug the road better, mainly because it's a 4000lb car, but still.

:stupid:
A GSX weighs 3200 lbs, a WRX is about 3100. |
Hug the road better? Not sure if the GSX pulls the same skidpad numbers as the WRX....also the positioning of the weight is what really matters. A 4000 lb ford truck with a lift kit is obviously going to have slightly "worse" handling characteristics as opposed to a 4000 lb Misti 3000GT VR4. I'm sure you already knew this though.
I think the WRX's have mucho body-roll from the factory as opposed to a GSX...probably why you thought the gsx was more stable. Shingo |
