Default Tires - How Wide on 04 Si Stock Rim?

Last autocross of the season today, last on street tires. Looking at Kumho V710s, looks like they are available in 215, 225, and 265 in for 16 inch wheels, and Victoracers come in 225, 245, and 265. How much tire can I cram on the stock 04 Si rim (6.5)? Any concerns with rubbing?

I'm hunting Minis next year.

Thanks,

215 is pretty big for 6.5 and I think 225 is pushing it. I doubt anything greater will fit.

I could be wrong though, good luck!

Nah I had 225s on my 15x6" wheels so 235s should be able to fit on there. Just have ot becareful not to screw up your gearing by getting a too tall of a tire.

Well I had to start planning for next year. I was going to run my 00 Civic Si in HS since it was bumped to a lower class. I know my friends run 225/45x15" on their stock Type R rims. The newer 06 Si can run 245-255 wide tires on the 17x7" rims.
