your thoughts and experiences please
methinks it is depending on what school you are attending. like berkeley or greater. but do joo think a masters from a state school will be worth it?

only if you are not paying for it or not paying for most of it. if the company you are working for pays for it then it's so worth it
Not sure about state school... or like University of Phoenix type of deals.
I know USC (University of Santa Clara) has a great program and same with UCB/Standfuurd :rick: but they are expensive and difficult to get into.
The average age for those three are in the 30s. They want people work real world experience.

Nothing wrong with a Masters from a state school. Study beyond the Bachelor degree is hardly ever a bad thing, unless you're in a field where too many degrees can make you over-qualified for entry level positions, but still not experienced enough for mid level positions. That would suck, but I'm not in one of those fields so I stayed the extra year (and one quarter) to get an M.S. in civil engineering.

well yea, i would, if you think about it, in a few years BA will mean not much, and those with masters will earn more, even more i mean, to live well...the education level is always rising as you know, 20-30 yaers ago you could get jobs with a high school diploma, now its worth jack shit, then it was the AA degree...now thats pretty much worhtless for a decent job, now you need a BA, pretty soon you will need master's, phd's and so on...so yea i would go for it.
