So I decided instead of wasting a whole other day waiting for the shitty ass cable guy to come and install a cable jack in my room, I'd do it myself. I didn't expect the attic to be that short, I had to lie down and crawl awkwardly (along the support 'cause the floor of the attic isn't finished, it's just drywall h: ) to get to the spot right behind the wall where my computer is. So I got insulation all over me, and I'm all itchy. I also accidently hit my head on a nail on the ceiling. h:

The cable guy said it should take him 2.5 hours. my friend and I did it in about 3. :thumbup:

 

if you take a cold shower it will help to leach the insulation out.

there are smarter ways to do what you did.

 

man i have a crawl space between my room and wall. cause we have a cape style house. i was lucky to eb able to stand cause i was networking my house. i had to run the wires down through the space by the chimny. once i got it thoguht trying to find where to drill up was hard and a lot of knocking on the walls.

good job on doing it yourself man. sometimes its funner to do it yourself.

 

that's the way that the cable guy said he was gonna do it. there's no crawl space under my room, the only way to get in the wall is from the attic.

 

i think he probably mean wear full clothes like long sleeves and stuff like that.
