good tint in LA
uh...isn't that near Monterey?
I said LOS ANGELES AREA.
Anyone else? If you got a good tint job from some guy, I'd assume you'd keep their name and number and give him more biz by spreading the word.
Any help would be great. Thanks.

I went to a place that I was happy with in Sherman Oaks. They do the tinting (at least they did at the time) for Robertson Honda in North Hollywood. They were fast, no bubbles, and their prices were reasonable. Knowing they were doing Hondas made me feel more comfortable if pieces of trim had to be removed. I think the name is Sundimmers (could be confused with another place), but I will do some research and post the info.
I checked the Smartpages site, and this appears to be the place. It is on the east side of Van Nuys Bl, just south of the 101 Fwy. I think Sundimmers was the name of a place in Santa Clarita when I lived there. I would recommend going there and checking out what products they are using now. I got a titanium tint that does fade very little, but there is no real color change. I would go to them again. Here is the info:

Thanks for all the feedback! Sun Shield Glass Tinting is the closest to where I'm at. Maybe I'll give them a try this weekend.
Anyone know the % tint legal regulation for rear/side windows and then also % for driver/passenger side front windows?
